Local artist Paul Baker, winner of 2003 and 2006 annual Thirroul Seaside Festival People’s choice prize, 2nd Prize Thirroul Seaside Arts Festival 2013, 1st Prize 2005 Kiama Art Festival, traditional landscape section and 2nd prize 2007 Rural landscape section at the Royal Easter Show, Sydney.

Also, a winner of the “Postcodes from the edge” 2014 Exhibition at Wollongong Art Gallery.

Paul started studying Fine Arts at Claremont College, Perth in 1987 and in 1989 became a student of the University of Tasmania, Hobart, studying Painting, Photography and Sculpture.

Paul’s painting helps him to understand the nature of all things seen: from the natural beauty of bush, water and rocks to the architectural wonders of the urban landscape.
